Our third annual fall fundraising event, Cowboy Christmas, will take place on DEcember 2, 2023 at Echo Lake Bible Camp.

Mark your calendars! Our 3rd annual Cowboy Christmas fundraising event is coming up on December 2 at Echo Lake Bible Camp! This is a wonderful evening of all things western and Christmas, with a hearty beef dinner, music by local country music performer Chris Henderson, and some fun auction activities. We are changing things up a bit this year with the auction so look forward to that!

Please wear your best western and/or Christmas gear, there will be prizes!

Doors at 5:00, Meal at 6:00

Tickets:

  • $50 for adults (includes a tax receiptable donation of $25)

  • $35 for students 12 + (enrolled in FT school or post secondary)

  • $12 for children 5-12, under 5 are free

  • $250 Table of 6 ($125 tax receipt to the ticket buyer, will not be divided among the guests)

This is our majoy fall fundraiser to support the winter expenses at ELBC. If you cannot attend, please consider sending your gift to the camp this month to top off your year-end giving. All donations are tax-receiptable. Your gifts are essential to the stability of the camp as we rely on giving to fund about half of our annual budget. We are hoping to raise $25,000 this year to support our operational expenses, which assures we can continue to provide quality camp ministry next year!

Performer Bio: Chris Henderson

Since his debut in 2008, Chris Henderson has been one of the busiest Recording Artists in Canada. The former high school teacher has been touring relentlessly, and has released 17 singles to National radio including, “Don’t Miss Your Kiss Goodbye” (peaked at #47), “My Regret” (#47), and many more.

The veteran singer/songwriter released his fourth studio project, “Point of View” in late 2019 and has already started work on a 5th record. Henderson has been nominated for dozens of awards including three consecutive wins as the, “Male Artist of the Year” at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards in in 2018-20, and “Songwriter of the Year” in 2014.

Henderson has appeared on stages such as the Craven Country Jamboree, Big Valley Jamboree, Boots & Hearts, Dauphin’s Country Fest, the Telemiracle cast, and more. He has also showcased at the CCMA’s for the songwriter series, the WCMA’s, and served on the CCMA Board of Directors.
